A Special Visitor Came By!

We had a wonderful surprise Sunday afternoon. Jerry Jeter came by knocking at our door! Jerry married Corey and I 10 years ago! It was such a great surprise to see him. Jerry was our youth pastor a long time ago. Then Jerry and his family moved to TN right after we married. Jerry and his daughter got up at 5 a.m this morning and drove to TX to go to his old church here in Grandview. They were in OK visiting family. He said they did not see to many familiar faces at church, so they started knocking at everyone's door after church. I was so thrilled he stopped by to see us. He got to meet Savannah too.

Christmas 2009!

Carlton and Lacey opening their stockings! Savannah got some really neat bird puppets. Checking out Santa. Savannah and Santa Family photo with Santa Gigi's house opening presents The girls got new ponies! This is so funny Savannah has been playing with her new car toy last two days! She bends down to see her face in the side view mirror. I caught some of it on video! Savannah got a fish bowel from Santa Loves the paper! Carlton waiting patiently to open his stocking and watching Savannah open her gifts! Daddy bought Savannah her first pair of diamond earrings! Mommy didn't even know about that! I was really surprised! She has them whenever she is ready to get her ears pierced. We put Savannah on the pony first before we started opening gifts. You think this first time she rode it! We gave it to her early before Christmas. Then we had hide him after the ride because she would not open her gifts kept staring at her horse! Savannah's first snow! Savannah touching the snow

Merry Christmas!

Happy 10 year Anniversay!

Ten Years ago God allowed the best thing to ever happen to me. Corey entered into my life. It was a fairy tale story that became true! I got to marry the guy next door! I still remember that day as if it were yesterday. I was playing hooky from school that day. I looked out my window and saw Corey starring at his house (our house now). Boy, did those butterflies swarm in my stomach. I had to get outside quick to see this guy! I still had curlers in my head and no time to to take them out. I dressed quickly and ran down those stairs outside to see my future husband. I talked to him all day outside with curlers in my head. I tried to take him to lunch but he turned me down that day. He had to eat lunch with his uncle Melvin. My heart was pounding because my future husband was standing right there in front of me. Wow! I'm still so amazed how God made this wonderful life for us to share together. God has a special person for everyone. It is truly amazing when He sets fo

Savannah enjoying a beautiful day!

My friend Gloria came by to help me out today. It was such a beautiful day. Savannah really enjoyed getting outside and strolling around. Gloria actually got Savannah to keep her sun glasses on. I had been working on that but she usually takes them off. Savannah can say her first word now! Hi! Its as clear has day when she said it! Its so cute! I'm so cool! Gloria and Savannah going for a stroll.

Precious Moment 10th Anniversay party!

Anna and Jonathan were so sweet and set up an anniversary party for us at Pappisitos. Most all Corey's siblings came. It was a small gathering. My mom made us a cake and put a 10 year Precious Moment figurine on top of the cake. I really wanted that piece! Anna and Jonathan made a good choice because we love to eat at Pappasitos.

Mema's B-day!

Savannah loves cake! Savannah and her Mema Corey prepared a wonderful enchilada dinner for his mom's birthday. We invited all the family over for a birthday party Friday night. Savannah really enjoyed everyone. After the party, Matt, Stephanie, Emmett, and Janis stayed and we played a game of Joker. The girls finally won! Anna and Jonathan popped in to watch the end of the game. Anna and Jonathan were too tired to play another game so we all called it a night.

Thanksgiving Weekend!

We went to Lake Whitney at McCowan's park camping over the Thanksgiving weekend. Savannah loves camping. She is so relaxed when she goes camping! She really enjoyed being outdoors. On Thanksgiving day when it was time to eat, Savannah falls asleep right at lunch time. I walked down to the tent with my baby monitor clipped to me. I learn quickly those things do not stretch far. Corey was like "Laliah they don't stretch far so mommies don't go to far away" It was really funny because it stretched as far as the road. I missed it by 6 feet to the tent. Everyone was teasing me that I was going to get my lawn chair and eat my Thanksgiving dinner on the road. Right on the line where it cut off! Nevertheless, I went back to the camper and my friend Heather stayed and kept me company. Then she went down to the tent to eat. I really enjoyed the quiet time because I actually got to sneak in and write a letter. A few people were like wake Savannah up. I know my baby needed he
