August 21st thru 24th

Savannah had lots of visitors last weekend. Savannah's Mema spent the night with her twice. We got some cute snapshots of Savannah with her Mema playing with her Piglet stuff animal. Then Tim and Heather came and spent the night with us too. I'm so grateful we have wonderful friends that we can rely on. Tim and Heather did the night shift so mommy and daddy could get some needed rest. Sunday of course I had to hit the stores to celebrate the the no tax school clothes savings! Savannah got a cute cowgirl outfit. Haven't you heard? She is in kindergarden now! I bought her a cute cowgirl hat too. We got a cute video clip of her talking a whole bunch wearing her new hat. Unfortunately , I have tried numerous times to down load the video with no luck. It must be too big for this blog. So that is why this clip of news has been delayed for posting.

3 month update!

I found theses cool update sheets. Enjoy!

A Gift From Heaven

Maria Q is a great photographer in Waxahachie, TX. She only likes to do babies when they are under 10 days old to get those special once in a life time poses. This is Savannah at 8 days old. We barely made the deadine!

Home Coming!

Savannah had a very special home coming with all her new family waiting on her arrival!

Labor was so easy!

Everyone keeps telling me don't tell people that labor was so easy! For those who did not here the full details of the labor here it is! We got to the hospital 30 minutes early at 3:30p.m. The lady looks at me and said go home you are not ready! I was like I have an appointment. Corey and I planned to do an induction. We planned the delivery because our doctor was going out of town the next day. They had already had 5 babies born that day and two walk ins. Funny because one of the walk ins was my friend Mandi but they sent her home. Her baby finally came 8 days after Savannah was born. Since they were so busy, they did not get me started until 6p.m. Thing were supposed to start at 4p.m. We just relaxed in the room till then. They gave me a pill, but only a quarter of that one pill at a time. Dr. Bowyer wanted at least 3 inserts. We only made it to two. When they were inserting the 2nd dose they had to wait for the contractions to slow down. Oh when I did get to the hospi

Savannah Storm is here!

After 9 years Corey and I finally had our first baby. We started our own family! Savannah is the best thing that ever happened to us! She is a miracle for sure! God gave us everything we wanted in Savannah. She is healthy, has all her fingers and toes, sleeps great, and is just such a happy baby. We have been so blessed! The funny part is that Corey and I got a reality check. This job never ends of being a dad or a mom. It is a wonderful thing! Corey will tell you I do 90% of it all but he helps more than he lets on. Corey is such a wonderful daddy! It is such a joy to watch Corey and Savannah together everyday. Memories that you will never forget for sure. The thing that really touched my heart from Corey was when he said "Laliah, God gave you to me and you were a wonderful gift and now you gave me the best gift ever in Savannah." My eyes watered! I'm the lucky one here. God gave me the best husband in the whole wide world and a new beautiful daughter. I'm so happy t
