Boo at Waxahachie, TX

I got an email Thursday night from Marie Q (Savannah's photographer.) Marie had Boo at Maria Q this afternoon during the Downtown's Trick or Treat on the Square. I guess every year the downtown hosts a Trick or Treat on the square. We saw a bunch of cute kids in costumes collecting there candy from each store merchant downtown. Marie was offering a complimentary 5x7 of your child in costume if you bring 2 canned goods. I thought that would be fun to go and do. I dressed Savannah in her My first Halloween outfit and put her cute black hat on with her Halloween bow. Funny, it really did not matter what she was wearing because they put her in a cute bucket and snaped her picture. The hat showed. We really got there just in time. We arrived at 2:30 and the line was at the front door. It was only about a 20 to 30 minute wait. When we got out of the building the line was around the building. We will get those pictures November 14th. When I get those I will post them. Savannah got

5TH ANNAUL HALLOWEEN PARTY!

It is so hard to believe that just a year ago at the Halloween party Savannah was just a pea size in my tummy at the party. Now here we are in 2009 and Savannah's first Halloween party. Savannah wanted to be a horse. Corey and I came as Cowboy and Indian. The fun part of the party is to see what everyone comes as. Stephanie won the most funniest award dressing up as a hillbilly. The most scariest award went to James who came as the Joker (James is Tony's Nephew). The best costume award was Mary Poppins. Katy was an outlaw and Savannah won the first place of the best costume award of all the kids. It was cute that all the kids voted for Savannah to win! Janis, Laliah, and Savannah Katy, Corey , Laliah, and Savannah Stephanie as a Hillbilly. Corey kept cracking up because her teeth would not stay in. Corey and Savannah Aunt Darcus and Savannah

Game Night at Matt and Stephanie's House

Stephanie make this great Taco soup last night. Janis and I both need to get the recipe for it. We were short one person to play Joker - every one's favorite game. Emmett left yesterday to go to Louisiana for a week. Then some how we did not communicate who was to bring what game to play. Janis has a big game bag with everything and did not bring it. Luckily I brought Phase 10 one of my favorite games. Matt now hates that game. If Matt was winning at the beginning I know he would like the game better. I promised Matt since he liked it so much I would purchase it for him for Christmas. He said he would burn it if I did that! Corey was the champion in last night's game. Aubrey came to help us with Savannah. Savannah did sneak a few plays in with the help of her daddy. Mommy and Savannah Stephanie got out baby D's farm animals out for Savannah to play with. Mema and Savannah Matt's frustated with the score. Savannah helping daddy with his game as Aubry whispers to her wha

Roll Over, roll over!

Savannah has had a good week. On Monday morning bright and early Savannah woke up deciding she was rolling over consistently. She had been rolling over some but now she will do it all the time. I can set Savannah down to play with her Fairyland and not two seconds later she rolled over. I'm now really having to watch her in the diaper changer! It is hard to change her diaper when she is rolling over. I caught a few nights sleeping with me her rolling over when she hears me get out of bed. We also started rice cereal this week again! I believe we had better success this go around. However, we put the breaks on it once again. She just is sounding very congested. My thoughts are the acid reflux might be in play again. I need to call her Pediatrician and explain things. Corey keeps reminding me we have all the time in the world to feed her food and that time is on our side. We took a brisk walk this afternoon. Now she sleeping it off!

Winter is coming to soon!

Grandview received a nice cold front this weekend. Corey turn the heat on! Corey is keeping our baby warm. The years before Savannah we would live as long as we could without turning the heat on in our house. But of course last year Corey and I were spoiled and just moved upstairs in our house when we got the upstairs completed. It was nice and toasty upstairs. Heat rises! Its been fun bundling Savannah up in warm clothes! The only sad thing is we have not had a nice fall. Summer went, skipped fall right into winter doom! Friday night we went to Matt and Stephanie's house for a game night. I'll be the first one to admit I'm being a bad sport. The boys have beat us now twice in row in the game of Joker. I do not like it! I can't seem to get us girls to win a game or even around! Since it was cold night I made us all a bowl of chili. Stephanie made a great stew soup as well! Savannah's Mema gave her a cute pumpkin hat and candy corn socks. Saturday morning we put on s

Canton time again!

Savannah's new hat and orange hair bow! They are cute when they sleep! My friend Donielle called me last Friday and asked me if I wanted to go to Canton, TX. Canto has the world's largest flea market. Of course I was excited to go! Poor Corey he really wanted to go. He stayed home to start digging his holes for his new trees with the bob cat. Corey and I almost went last month to Canton but it was to hot. This was the month to go because the weather was just right! It was so nice to go and not be pregnant! Corey and I went last year 3 times while I was pregnant! Canton is so big and so much to look at a person can walk forever! A pregnant woman can too but its hard on the feet! It can be done 3 times although I would recommendto bring the camper next time. A person must have a resting area! Donielle and her 5 month old Matthew came picked Savannah and I up. I'm not sure if the babies really knew they were riding together. The way up there both babies slept. Donielle brough
