Last night Lacey was exhausted! I sure would like to know why? I did not see her do anything to strenuous yesterday! Savannah giving Lacey a hug! Lacey watching Baby Einstein. Notice I caught it when the frogs were on the screen. Wore out! I thought this was neat because you can see Savannah's name on her couch. Napping! Last weekend we celebrated Anna's birthday! She like the surprise with the Care Bears on her cake! The girls especially love that part! Blowing her candles out! A group cheese picture! Last weekend Savannah was helping her daddy install his new tool box on mommy's old truck! Corey is getting his work truck all geared up! Cheese! She fits right in the tool box well!

Wow! Last week was so busy! From the baby contest on Tuesday night, to working at the gym the 4 a.m.shift on Thursday, to fiddle contest on Friday night, fiddle benefit on Saturday night, and working at the gym on Sunday all day. It has truly been a non stop week! I think today might finally be a quiet day for me. At least I have no plans to go anywhere today! Of course it all starts over on Monday again! After napping most of the day on Thursday ( I forget the after affects of the 4a.m. shift does to your body) Savannah and I went and got pedicures done. Savannah's first pedicure and first painting of her piggy toes! She sat in my lap and did great! She watched them do mine. The people ended up not charging me for Savannah's toes because they said she was so smart. She was telling them what all the animals were in her Oh MacDonald book. It was a fun mommy and daughter experience and more to come I'm sure of! I went to the fiddle contest Friday n

Savannah is our big winner in our family! She did not place in the top ten but she is our little winner! She did an excellent job. I inserted the video to watch! Corey and I did not know what except. To our big surprise there was 61 contestants in her group. Then only maybe 4 or 5 in the boys group. A good year if you were a boy. Some of it tickled me very much how serious these other moms take it. Then the judges must not have been a mom of a one year old because they took a good twenty five minutes to make a top 10 decision. It was kinda funny that there are 61 babies out here waiting without patience. It was a fun experience though. We went with the blue dress that went beautiful with Savannah's eyes. We got very lucky getting the number 15. We were the 2nd group to go out on the stage. Corey and I both were very proud of Savannah!

Corey, Savannah and I had a nice weekend around the house. On Saturday, the girls, Savannah's cousins Aubrey and Katy came over to stay the night with her. We wanted the girls to spend the night before school starts back. Really only starts back for Katy. Aubrey just finished high school. On Saturday night we took the girls to the Parks mall. Just ate at the food court and browsed around at the book store. Savannah loves the book store! On Sunday we all hung around the house. Katy and I made some cards with my stamp collection. The girls watched a movie. I forget what it was called. Then Sunday evening we took the girls home and went swimming in their pool. Darcus and Tony made us fish tacos for dinner. Very good! So we watched the 1st half of the first Cowboy game of preseason at Darcus and Tony's house. I had Savannah already in her pink Cowboy outfit. When we got home we snapped a few pictures of her. Corey got his Cowboy hat out too. The Cowboys won! Peeking her eye out!

Last Saturday Savannah, my mom, Emma, and I went to the Parks Mall. Our mission was to find Savannah a dress for the Alvarado Settler's Reunion baby contest. August 10th is when Savannah will be in the baby contest. The rules are simple they must wear shoes and walk across the stage. Gigi was wanting to find the perfect dress so Savannah will win! Here are some photo's of her trying on dresses. I will not tell you which one we got. You'll just have to wait to see our next blog. While we were at the mall, we rode the carousel. Savannah loved that. This was her 2nd trip to ride it. Her daddy and Mema had taken her a few weeks prior to that. Savannah discovered in the back room a grocery basket her size. Then Emma and Savannah were both fighting to push it. Every time one got a turn the other would throw a hissy fit. T
