Our trip to the Fort Worth Zoo

We went to the Fort Worth Zoo on Sunday. It was a beautiful day for it too. This was my favorite part we discovered right before we had to leave and go home. There is a huge cage with all the "pet Store" birds in it. For a dollar you buy a stick with a little bird feed on it. Of course the birds fly right to your hand. Savannah finally got brave enough to hold the stick on her own. You could also pet the birds. Pelicans behind Corey and Savannah African penguins Elephants If you notice the two signs have Savannah's name on them and Savannah springs would made a pretty middle name too. They actually had this creature alive at the zoo! He loved to stick out his tongue! If you notice the gorilla behind us. Savannah was calling him Poppo. She thought it looked just like my dad! Savannah loves Flamingos. She can say that word very well too!

Baby Shower!

Darcus and I had the great privilege to be able to throw Stephanie a baby shower last Saturday. It was a lot of fun and a beautiful party. Here are some photos I would like to share. She is partyed out! Savannah and Addison playing! Stephanie opening presents Stephanie and baby Jalyn, then Amanda, Darcus, and me! Darcus and me! Darcus made these beautiful party favors. I love the butterflies on them! I know when my friend Melanie sees this she will love the Winnie the Pooh cake! Janis made this diaper cake for Stephanie.

Christmas time is coming!

Yes, I already got my Christmas trees up! Robin and Addy came over last Saturday to help Savannah and I. The girls actually just played. Then Savannah did help us by getting on to the ladder. Reminds me of Lacey and Carlton wanting to do that too! Then Robin came over Monday and we finished tree #2. Now all I have left is the garland down the stairs. I should probably do that today! Excited that Santa is coming soon! Addy and Savannah Mama's big helper! I'll stick my tongue out beacuse I'm not getting off! Savannah also spent her morning before Addy and Robin got here cleaning her ears with Q-tips. It keeps her busy! Then some how she manages to get them to stick up in her ear without holding it. She'll walk around with a Q-tip in her ear. It is really funny!

Playing fiddle and outside playing

Keep you hat on please! And taking a wagon ride! I went into the attic and found my little American Doll fiddle. When Savannah sees me play fiddle she wants to play too. This fiddle is a better size for her but still it is just a bit to small. She listens very well when comes to placing her hands, chin, and all! Playing outside in the chilly weather! I think this a cute picture!
