Camping Trip at McCowans

Corey and I decided to go camping last weekend. The weather was perfect. I was actually freezing Sunday morning. I forgot my camera. I was disappointed about that. Thank goodness for phone cameras. I got a few snaps! Savannah had a blast playing on the playgrounds there at the park. There are two of them. The newest one is a very nice playground. Savannah is becoming a pro at sliding down the slides all by herself. The first night we could never get Savannah to go to bed. Probably because everything was new. I ended up driving around the park at 10:30ish to get her to fall asleep. Then she awarded me with waking up at 5a.m. and did not want to go back to sleep. So we switched beds with Corey. We watched a few hours worth of Baby Einstein. She had enough of that and wanted to go outside. We strolled in the dark for awhile. I'm glad I brought my jacket. I thought I had her asleep. We came back inside the camper. Nope she still wanted to be outside. Finally at this point it was light enough to go to the playground. Then all 3 of us got a nice nap in from 10:30 to 12:30ish. The second night was much easier. We watched an episode of Baby Einstein. I cut the TV off at 10:30 and gave Savannah a bottle. She fell right to sleep. Our friends Tim and Heather came camping too. We had a blast with their company.

Savannah's newest thing since we last went camping is climbing on the picnic table bench and table itself. We had to keep a watchful eye out.
Savannah becoming a pro at sliding!
Funny, Savannah remembered this part from back in June. Now she can turn the wheel around by herself. As before it was a half turn only

When we got home she discovered her daddy bought her a Barbie Jeep. It belonged to Madeline but she has out grown it. So Tim and Heather sold it to Corey. I had Renee come drive her around. She loved that. We ran out of juice because it was not that charged up. Renee kept calling the Jeep a diesel. "Savannah get in the Diesel" Renee would say!

Happy July 4th- Savannah First Zoo Trip

Happy July Forth! Corey and I decided to take Savannah to the Zoo. We drove down to the Cameron Zoo in Waco, TX. I love that zoo because its never to crowded like the Fort Worth or Dallas Zoo. It was Savannah's first trip to the Zoo. She really loved it. It worked out perfect because she napped on the way down and on the way back to the house. Corey and I had a great time showing Savannah all the animals. I think the fish, tigers, ducks and otter were her favorite animals to see. Everyday Savannah is saying more words. At the Zoo she was saying fish and duck very clear. She was also growling like the alligators and tigers. She would hiss like a snake when we were looking at all the snakes. We had a great time at the zoo. We came home from the zoo and went swimming next door at Gigi's house for a bit. Then Savannah and I left early to go to our small city park to see the festivities going on up there. I forgot my camera but Gigi got some cute pictures of Savannah in the W...

Sleepless Nights!

Wow! I know I haven't posted in two weeks. Sorry! I'll update all of you on what we have been up to this past two weeks. Matthew and Mackenzie came over Thursday February 1st and played with Savannah. They love her so much. I really enjoy their company and they are such a big help to me! The weather was cold and yucky two weekends ago. It is so hard to be cooped up in the house all day. Saturday, Corey and I kept Savannah entertained all day. By the end of the afternoon she was tired of our faces and bored with us! I texted Robin and she was sweet enough to come over and let Corey and I go out! Savannah was so happy to see new faces. She just smiled at Robin and Addy! I got some cute pictures of Addy and Savannah playing! Corey and I went out to eat and ran to Albertsons to get a few things. Savannah caught a cold. At first Savannah started running fever and no other signs. Corey and I assumed it was probably teething. By Monday and Tuesday she had that same congestion she had...

Canton time again!

Savannah's new hat and orange hair bow! They are cute when they sleep! My friend Donielle called me last Friday and asked me if I wanted to go to Canton, TX. Canto has the world's largest flea market. Of course I was excited to go! Poor Corey he really wanted to go. He stayed home to start digging his holes for his new trees with the bob cat. Corey and I almost went last month to Canton but it was to hot. This was the month to go because the weather was just right! It was so nice to go and not be pregnant! Corey and I went last year 3 times while I was pregnant! Canton is so big and so much to look at a person can walk forever! A pregnant woman can too but its hard on the feet! It can be done 3 times although I would recommendto bring the camper next time. A person must have a resting area! Donielle and her 5 month old Matthew came picked Savannah and I up. I'm not sure if the babies really knew they were riding together. The way up there both babies slept. Donielle brough...
