A Tornado Hit Us!

Well this been quite a 48 hours. While I was trying to post this blog early this afternoon I had to call 911. My power lines were popping like fire works and I was afraid our two trees were going to catch on fire. The neighbors yard was smoking a bit. The fire department came out and now On-cor is out here fixing things. I still have power however I have unplug things. I probably should not be turning my computer on right now. I got to fax out.

Yesterday morning at 1:15 we had a tornado hit us. It was crazy ordeal. Corey just happened to wake up at 1 am before it hit us. He moved a few things outside. Then I wake up with a power gust wind blowing at me. All our windows had been opened. The first 10 minutes Corey and I were scrambling for flash lights and shutting windows. Then drying everything up. I had a hard time shutting windows upstairs. Very power winds! We were very fortunate that we did not get quite much damage as other people in town. Mom and dad had more limbs fall then we did. My truck happen to be outside the garage. Lucky a tree did not land on it. Many people in town had trees land on their cars or houses. Then the library next door to mom and dad's place. The entire library roof landed in the street. The photos you can also tell one the city's roof blew off to. We thought at first at 2a.m. it was Harold's metal building in the street but it was the library roof. I did have all my garage sale stuff outside on the back porch. A few things got ruined. That is okay. We are safe and no deaths or injuries reported. We finally got power on last night after 9:30ish.

here you can see the library roof on the street which also not down the power lines. Then you can see the roof off the city building.

The messy street of leaves plus these are the power lines that were trying to catch my trees on fire earlier too!
Can see some tree damage at mom and dad's place

Happy July 4th- Savannah First Zoo Trip

Happy July Forth! Corey and I decided to take Savannah to the Zoo. We drove down to the Cameron Zoo in Waco, TX. I love that zoo because its never to crowded like the Fort Worth or Dallas Zoo. It was Savannah's first trip to the Zoo. She really loved it. It worked out perfect because she napped on the way down and on the way back to the house. Corey and I had a great time showing Savannah all the animals. I think the fish, tigers, ducks and otter were her favorite animals to see. Everyday Savannah is saying more words. At the Zoo she was saying fish and duck very clear. She was also growling like the alligators and tigers. She would hiss like a snake when we were looking at all the snakes. We had a great time at the zoo. We came home from the zoo and went swimming next door at Gigi's house for a bit. Then Savannah and I left early to go to our small city park to see the festivities going on up there. I forgot my camera but Gigi got some cute pictures of Savannah in the W...

Sleepless Nights!

Wow! I know I haven't posted in two weeks. Sorry! I'll update all of you on what we have been up to this past two weeks. Matthew and Mackenzie came over Thursday February 1st and played with Savannah. They love her so much. I really enjoy their company and they are such a big help to me! The weather was cold and yucky two weekends ago. It is so hard to be cooped up in the house all day. Saturday, Corey and I kept Savannah entertained all day. By the end of the afternoon she was tired of our faces and bored with us! I texted Robin and she was sweet enough to come over and let Corey and I go out! Savannah was so happy to see new faces. She just smiled at Robin and Addy! I got some cute pictures of Addy and Savannah playing! Corey and I went out to eat and ran to Albertsons to get a few things. Savannah caught a cold. At first Savannah started running fever and no other signs. Corey and I assumed it was probably teething. By Monday and Tuesday she had that same congestion she had...

Canton time again!

Savannah's new hat and orange hair bow! They are cute when they sleep! My friend Donielle called me last Friday and asked me if I wanted to go to Canton, TX. Canto has the world's largest flea market. Of course I was excited to go! Poor Corey he really wanted to go. He stayed home to start digging his holes for his new trees with the bob cat. Corey and I almost went last month to Canton but it was to hot. This was the month to go because the weather was just right! It was so nice to go and not be pregnant! Corey and I went last year 3 times while I was pregnant! Canton is so big and so much to look at a person can walk forever! A pregnant woman can too but its hard on the feet! It can be done 3 times although I would recommendto bring the camper next time. A person must have a resting area! Donielle and her 5 month old Matthew came picked Savannah and I up. I'm not sure if the babies really knew they were riding together. The way up there both babies slept. Donielle brough...
