Bye, Bye, Trees!

On Saturday, Corey finally got a nice sunny day to cut his 3 trees down. He is going to replace them with some new Live Oak trees he has bought. Luckily daddy and Matt helped Corey with this dangerous task. Gigi, the girls, and Stephanie came to watch the trees come down! We also all ate breakfast on the patio. Very nice weather! Savannah sipped on Coke while watching her daddy cut down his trees! I'm bringing her up right! She has to have that caffeine like her mom! Really she did not have any coke but she tried her best! On Sunday watching the football game and playing! To our big surprise Savannah rolled over twice on her own and on purpose from back to stomach! Mom and daddy were excited! To end our Sunday with a funny bedtime storey. Corey had hit me earlier on the shoulder because I had a mosquito biting me! I was like what you doing? Then we were sitting in bed just talking while I held Savannah. All of a sudden he grabs her clothes and slams it down on the bed. I was like i

Savannah's First Camping Trip!

We had a nice mini getaway weekend going camping! We got to stay until Monday also! It was Savannah's first time to go camping. Corey was a little nervous about how Savannah would like it and all but she absolutely loved camping! She was so relaxed! I think we both thought if we like to camp so would Savannah. We arrived at Whitney State Park Friday about noonish time. Savannah was still sleeping when we arrived so that allowed us a little time to unload stuff and get settled into the camper. Since we got down there first we got our site and Mom and dad's site too. We both had beautiful spots. We had the site that was on a bluff. Mom and dad's site was next to ours but they had a great yard for the girls to run around and play. I think we had the two best sites in our section. Mom and dad later arrived. They forgot a few things and ran into town. While they did that Corey, Savannah, Baylee, and I walked the beach. Then Anna and Jonathan arrived while we were on our walk a

Rain Rain Go Away!

Corey, Savannah and I have been couped up for almost 3 days in the house! It has been raining none stop. Can't complain too much because we need the rain! I would like to see the sun now! At least we got the house cleaned yesterday! Savannah played in her 1-2-3 Tea for Me saucer while Corey and and I watched the UT game. They say that by putting them in that they will developed 9 milestones which include tactile development, visual development, object performance, hand-eye coordination, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, object exploration, causes & effect learning, and self-awareness. All that scientific stuff aside it gives mommy and daddy about a thirty minute break also. Last night we watched the North Texas game with the disappointing double overtime loss to Ohio. Savannah has accomplished all 9 milestones. Evenflow has forgot to mention the 10th milestone! The biggest milestone was achieved by Savannah staying in there for longer then 30 minutes. All week Savannah

Our Austin Trip!

Corey, my niece Aubrey, Savannah, and I took a mini get away to Baba's house over the weekend. It was Baba's first time to meet her new great granddaughter Savannah. Baba loved Savannah! We relaxed at Baba's house and got our Mr. Gattis pizza fix! We love Mr. Gattis Pizza. It is behind Baba's house too. Grandpa Hoskins and Grandma Jeannie came to see Savannah at Baba's house. We got the 4 generation picture taken. We all tried to watch the first game of UT but for some reason they were not broadcasting it locally. Go figure! Baba doesn't have satellite only cable. The score was 59-20 we won! We tried to get Savannah to take her Longhorn pacifier but like all other pacifiers she not interested in them. Jeannie playing with Savannah! Baba and Savannah On the ride home Savannah was really enjoying talking and playing with her toys! Her daddy bought a new car key toy. The new toy lights up and sings songs too! She likes it!

September 1st

Wow! September is already here! Corey is excited because he is ready for it to cool down. We got a nice little cool front over the weekend! It made me have camping fever bad! So I got Corey taking us later this month camping. Saturday August 29th I took my niece Aubrey to the movies. We went to see Post Grad. It was a cute movie and I recommend it. Darcus kept Savannah while Aubrey and I went to the movies. Corey stayed home to mow the lawn and clean his truck out. We are hoping to get his truck sold soon so I can get a car. It is getting really old loading the stroller in and out of my truck. After the movies I came back to pick up Savannah at Darcus's house. Then Aubrey, Savannah, Corey, Janis, and I all rode to Waxahachie to pick up a piece of marble I had purchased at an antique shop on Thursday. We squeezed in a little more antique shopping that day. I was telling Savannah on Thursday that her daddy was going to be jealous that we had gone antique shopping without him that day
