Starting her first Steps!

Lacey wearing my shoes! Lacey's paw inside my shoe Savannah working on her first few steps. She is pretty strong to keep up with me at a very slow pace. She did get tired after awhile. I was playing peeky boo. I was hiding myself behind the tree and she would peek her head out. I got some cute snaps. Hugging the tree! It was a beautiful day outside yesterday. Savannah sure enjoys being outdoors.

Coin Show

Some of the water gardens Savannah is still snoozing! Matt and Staephanie Over the weekend Corey, Savannah, Matt and Stephanie and I went to the Fort Worth Convention Center to a coin show. They have a little museum there that was really neat. Millions and millions of coins there. We saw a nickel only 5 in the world. It was worth like over 3 million dollars for just that 1918 nickel. Really funny because the display of the nickel was kinda in a hidden corner. When Matt, Corey and I went to go look at it a swarm of people would come up to look at the same time. So Corey could never really see it. As we were leaving Corey had not seen it well and there was nobody over there at the display. Corey goes over to look and all these people come up to it again. Really funny! I missed out seeing the $1000 bill. Matt saw it. Savannah liked all the people at the coin show. Then half way threw she took a nap with all the busy people and noise. After the show we walked across the plaza and went to

Texas weather for ya!

We have been busy the last two weeks. Savannah and I have really enjoyed the spring weather in the 70's. Really have taken advantage of it to get our walks in everyday. Friday was a beautiful day then Saturday morning we dropped down in the low 30's and 40's again. The first day of Spring its snowing in Texas. Nothing stuck in Grandview but a few northern cities got the snow again. I hope that was the last of our winter days to come. I thought spring was here but winter had to come back in for two cold days. The wind chill was bad too! Corey has really taken advantage of this beautiful weather and has built us an outdoor kitchen. I'm so excited about it and can't wait til its all done. Our goal is to have it all completed before Savannah's b-day party in May. Savannah and I will be spending a lot of time out there this summer. Sunday Savannah and I went to my niece Ashton's baby shower. Little Addison due May 4th. We are so excited to have a new playmate alo

9 month update!

I forgot to post this a couple weeks ao. 9 month update!

To the lake!

Emmett and Janis went camping this weekend. We went down for the day. We were hoping to take our camper but we knew rain was in the forecast. Guess what? It is a wet day outside! Corey and I were really happy yesterday that the weather was decent. We took several walks. My cousin Robin let us borrow Addy's car for the weekend to take it down to the lake. We have been calling it Savannah's rental. We are hoping to get her that little car when her birthday comes around. Also, my dad came down with Baylee and Renee. They went out on the boat with Emmett to see if Emmett caught anything on his trout lines. Take a peek below to see if they did catch anything! Savannah also did her first sliding down the slide with Stephanie's help. Savannah really loved sliding. Later that night we ate hot dogs and then celebrated my nephew Matt's birthday. Stephanie and I snuck into town and went into Brookshires to get Matt a birthday cake. Corey and Savannah playing in the grass. Baylee

Shoe shopping!

Last Saturday Savannah and I went shopping with my cousin Robin and her daughter Addy. Savannah did great. We were gone from 10:40 in the morning to 9:30 at night. We went to my aunt Pat's house first. Aunt Pat was not quite home yet so we let ourselves in. Aunt Pat and Megan had gone to get their hair done. When they did get back we all went and ate lunch and then went to Costco's. I bought Savannah some new books. She is really into books now. After Costco's we went back and dropped off the cold food at aunt Pat's house. We switched vehicles and loaded both car seats into aunt Pat's car and went to the Parks Mall. It was a big day for Savannah because she got sized and fitted for her new shoes. Yes, lots of people have given us plenty of hand me down shoes but, Savannah kicks them off. Its one of those things that I probably should have started earlier wearing shoes rather then trying later. We wore her hats at a very earlier age and she got use to that. Robin s
