Shoe shopping!

Last Saturday Savannah and I went shopping with my cousin Robin and her daughter Addy. Savannah did great. We were gone from 10:40 in the morning to 9:30 at night. We went to my aunt Pat's house first. Aunt Pat was not quite home yet so we let ourselves in. Aunt Pat and Megan had gone to get their hair done. When they did get back we all went and ate lunch and then went to Costco's. I bought Savannah some new books. She is really into books now. After Costco's we went back and dropped off the cold food at aunt Pat's house. We switched vehicles and loaded both car seats into aunt Pat's car and went to the Parks Mall. It was a big day for Savannah because she got sized and fitted for her new shoes. Yes, lots of people have given us plenty of hand me down shoes but, Savannah kicks them off. Its one of those things that I probably should have started earlier wearing shoes rather then trying later. We wore her hats at a very earlier age and she got use to that. Robin said Addy did the same thing by kicking her shoes off but as soon as they took her to get fitted at Stride Rite. Addy became so proud of her shoes. We went with the same intentions hoping Savannah would get excited about buying a new pair of shoes and be proud of them. Guess what? It worked! Savannah kept those shoes on all day and was very proud of her new shoes!
I know its been a few weeks since I posted. For those who do not know Savannah started day care. She loves it. The first day was tough and came home with puffy eyes. Day 2,3,4, she did better. However we did not get to go this Monday and Tuesday because she came down with I guess a stomach virus. Sunday in the wee morning hours she had a temperature of 103.22. Monday and Tuesday was a tough day on mom, dad and Savannah. She is feeling better now and has returned back to day care to see all her friends.

after a day of shopping the girls had a blast in the tub!

Happy July 4th- Savannah First Zoo Trip

Happy July Forth! Corey and I decided to take Savannah to the Zoo. We drove down to the Cameron Zoo in Waco, TX. I love that zoo because its never to crowded like the Fort Worth or Dallas Zoo. It was Savannah's first trip to the Zoo. She really loved it. It worked out perfect because she napped on the way down and on the way back to the house. Corey and I had a great time showing Savannah all the animals. I think the fish, tigers, ducks and otter were her favorite animals to see. Everyday Savannah is saying more words. At the Zoo she was saying fish and duck very clear. She was also growling like the alligators and tigers. She would hiss like a snake when we were looking at all the snakes. We had a great time at the zoo. We came home from the zoo and went swimming next door at Gigi's house for a bit. Then Savannah and I left early to go to our small city park to see the festivities going on up there. I forgot my camera but Gigi got some cute pictures of Savannah in the W...

Sleepless Nights!

Wow! I know I haven't posted in two weeks. Sorry! I'll update all of you on what we have been up to this past two weeks. Matthew and Mackenzie came over Thursday February 1st and played with Savannah. They love her so much. I really enjoy their company and they are such a big help to me! The weather was cold and yucky two weekends ago. It is so hard to be cooped up in the house all day. Saturday, Corey and I kept Savannah entertained all day. By the end of the afternoon she was tired of our faces and bored with us! I texted Robin and she was sweet enough to come over and let Corey and I go out! Savannah was so happy to see new faces. She just smiled at Robin and Addy! I got some cute pictures of Addy and Savannah playing! Corey and I went out to eat and ran to Albertsons to get a few things. Savannah caught a cold. At first Savannah started running fever and no other signs. Corey and I assumed it was probably teething. By Monday and Tuesday she had that same congestion she had...

Canton time again!

Savannah's new hat and orange hair bow! They are cute when they sleep! My friend Donielle called me last Friday and asked me if I wanted to go to Canton, TX. Canto has the world's largest flea market. Of course I was excited to go! Poor Corey he really wanted to go. He stayed home to start digging his holes for his new trees with the bob cat. Corey and I almost went last month to Canton but it was to hot. This was the month to go because the weather was just right! It was so nice to go and not be pregnant! Corey and I went last year 3 times while I was pregnant! Canton is so big and so much to look at a person can walk forever! A pregnant woman can too but its hard on the feet! It can be done 3 times although I would recommendto bring the camper next time. A person must have a resting area! Donielle and her 5 month old Matthew came picked Savannah and I up. I'm not sure if the babies really knew they were riding together. The way up there both babies slept. Donielle brough...
