The State Fair of Texas

Look behind our picture! Do you see Savannah's picture behind us? For those who do not know I entered 2 photos of Savannah in the Photography contest at the State Fair. One of my photos got 2nd and the other got 10th place. Corey, Savannah, and I finally made it to the fair to see my photo on display! I was tickled pink I got 2nd place and still can't believe that. It was very exciting to see my photo up on the wall with a lot of other great photos. Very rewarding and a humbling experience.

Savannah worn out at the end of the day.

Big Tex
Cotton Bowl
We are in the Ferris wheel
Savannah was a little unsure at first about going on this ride.
Looking out at Dallas
The fair had a little farm exhibit for the kids to work on. For all your hard work at the end of a day the children got to sell their goods. Savannah was given a dollar to get something at the general store. Savannah got Cheetos.
She like the baby piglets!
The petting Zoo was great. They had a bunch of cute animals.

We saw Elsie the cow too!

Savannah thought she was going shopping for some seasonings.
Water play!
We also went to the Childrens Aquarium. Savannah loved that!
Savannah was relaxed as you can see!
Sting Rays

We also went to the Bob the Builder Exhibit at the Science and Nature Museum. It was cute "Mom there is Bob and the Cat!" Savannah immediately sits on the cat.

Savannah working hard.
I love Wendy's camper! Savannah did too!

We got free ice cream too! Savannah has two cones because I got her one and Corey had got her one kinda at the same time while in line. It was Senior Citizens Days at the fair. While in line I hand the extra cone to the old lady behind Corey to take the extra cone. Her face was priceless she wasn't taking an ice cream cone I touched! It was just handed to me and was trying to pass it on because I did not need two. I wish I had a picture of the lady's face expression.
Besides all the steps and stairs everywhere this was Savannah's 2nd thing at the fair that was her favorite. The foot massage chair. She would sit in it all day if you let her.

Enjoying the water fountains.
Doesn't want to leave!

Happy July 4th- Savannah First Zoo Trip

Happy July Forth! Corey and I decided to take Savannah to the Zoo. We drove down to the Cameron Zoo in Waco, TX. I love that zoo because its never to crowded like the Fort Worth or Dallas Zoo. It was Savannah's first trip to the Zoo. She really loved it. It worked out perfect because she napped on the way down and on the way back to the house. Corey and I had a great time showing Savannah all the animals. I think the fish, tigers, ducks and otter were her favorite animals to see. Everyday Savannah is saying more words. At the Zoo she was saying fish and duck very clear. She was also growling like the alligators and tigers. She would hiss like a snake when we were looking at all the snakes. We had a great time at the zoo. We came home from the zoo and went swimming next door at Gigi's house for a bit. Then Savannah and I left early to go to our small city park to see the festivities going on up there. I forgot my camera but Gigi got some cute pictures of Savannah in the W...

Sleepless Nights!

Wow! I know I haven't posted in two weeks. Sorry! I'll update all of you on what we have been up to this past two weeks. Matthew and Mackenzie came over Thursday February 1st and played with Savannah. They love her so much. I really enjoy their company and they are such a big help to me! The weather was cold and yucky two weekends ago. It is so hard to be cooped up in the house all day. Saturday, Corey and I kept Savannah entertained all day. By the end of the afternoon she was tired of our faces and bored with us! I texted Robin and she was sweet enough to come over and let Corey and I go out! Savannah was so happy to see new faces. She just smiled at Robin and Addy! I got some cute pictures of Addy and Savannah playing! Corey and I went out to eat and ran to Albertsons to get a few things. Savannah caught a cold. At first Savannah started running fever and no other signs. Corey and I assumed it was probably teething. By Monday and Tuesday she had that same congestion she had...

Canton time again!

Savannah's new hat and orange hair bow! They are cute when they sleep! My friend Donielle called me last Friday and asked me if I wanted to go to Canton, TX. Canto has the world's largest flea market. Of course I was excited to go! Poor Corey he really wanted to go. He stayed home to start digging his holes for his new trees with the bob cat. Corey and I almost went last month to Canton but it was to hot. This was the month to go because the weather was just right! It was so nice to go and not be pregnant! Corey and I went last year 3 times while I was pregnant! Canton is so big and so much to look at a person can walk forever! A pregnant woman can too but its hard on the feet! It can be done 3 times although I would recommendto bring the camper next time. A person must have a resting area! Donielle and her 5 month old Matthew came picked Savannah and I up. I'm not sure if the babies really knew they were riding together. The way up there both babies slept. Donielle brough...
