Happy 10 year Anniversay!

Ten Years ago God allowed the best thing to ever happen to me. Corey entered into my life. It was a fairy tale story that became true! I got to marry the guy next door! I still remember that day as if it were yesterday. I was playing hooky from school that day. I looked out my window and saw Corey starring at his house (our house now). Boy, did those butterflies swarm in my stomach. I had to get outside quick to see this guy! I still had curlers in my head and no time to to take them out. I dressed quickly and ran down those stairs outside to see my future husband. I talked to him all day outside with curlers in my head. I tried to take him to lunch but he turned me down that day. He had to eat lunch with his uncle Melvin. My heart was pounding because my future husband was standing right there in front of me. Wow! I'm still so amazed how God made this wonderful life for us to share together. God has a special person for everyone. It is truly amazing when He sets forward a Husband for a Wife. It is a beautiful thing! The first time I met Corey when he bought the house next door to my parents. Thirty minutes before I met Corey my Mema had mapped out out whole lives. This Corey, he was the one! The first day I wasn't to positivity nice to him. I was like you bought my house and we will have to work something out here. I'm so thankful the Lord intervened. Looking at him mowing that day in April 1999 I knew he was the one for me. I was like Lord okay here He is I'm only 16 years old! Are you crazy for bringing me Mr. Right so soon? The Lord knows Best! Corey told his friend Tim that day "I'm going to marry that girl." I want to thank the Lord for the best gift ever having Corey in my life. I'm very humbled. Corey you are the best thing that ever happened to me. I loved so dearly the 10 years we have shared together! You have provided me so much happiness in my life. I need you so much! I look forward to many more years with you! I'm so happy he married me 10 years ago! It is an honor and blessing to be with you! Now we have a new chapter to begin again. I'm so excited that Savannah is here to experience it with us. I could not imagine ever sharing life without the both of you! Just like you said, God gave me to you as a gift, and Savannah is a gift for the both of us. Savannah and you are the best gifts I could ever want in life! I love you!

Happy July 4th- Savannah First Zoo Trip

Happy July Forth! Corey and I decided to take Savannah to the Zoo. We drove down to the Cameron Zoo in Waco, TX. I love that zoo because its never to crowded like the Fort Worth or Dallas Zoo. It was Savannah's first trip to the Zoo. She really loved it. It worked out perfect because she napped on the way down and on the way back to the house. Corey and I had a great time showing Savannah all the animals. I think the fish, tigers, ducks and otter were her favorite animals to see. Everyday Savannah is saying more words. At the Zoo she was saying fish and duck very clear. She was also growling like the alligators and tigers. She would hiss like a snake when we were looking at all the snakes. We had a great time at the zoo. We came home from the zoo and went swimming next door at Gigi's house for a bit. Then Savannah and I left early to go to our small city park to see the festivities going on up there. I forgot my camera but Gigi got some cute pictures of Savannah in the W...

Sleepless Nights!

Wow! I know I haven't posted in two weeks. Sorry! I'll update all of you on what we have been up to this past two weeks. Matthew and Mackenzie came over Thursday February 1st and played with Savannah. They love her so much. I really enjoy their company and they are such a big help to me! The weather was cold and yucky two weekends ago. It is so hard to be cooped up in the house all day. Saturday, Corey and I kept Savannah entertained all day. By the end of the afternoon she was tired of our faces and bored with us! I texted Robin and she was sweet enough to come over and let Corey and I go out! Savannah was so happy to see new faces. She just smiled at Robin and Addy! I got some cute pictures of Addy and Savannah playing! Corey and I went out to eat and ran to Albertsons to get a few things. Savannah caught a cold. At first Savannah started running fever and no other signs. Corey and I assumed it was probably teething. By Monday and Tuesday she had that same congestion she had...

Canton time again!

Savannah's new hat and orange hair bow! They are cute when they sleep! My friend Donielle called me last Friday and asked me if I wanted to go to Canton, TX. Canto has the world's largest flea market. Of course I was excited to go! Poor Corey he really wanted to go. He stayed home to start digging his holes for his new trees with the bob cat. Corey and I almost went last month to Canton but it was to hot. This was the month to go because the weather was just right! It was so nice to go and not be pregnant! Corey and I went last year 3 times while I was pregnant! Canton is so big and so much to look at a person can walk forever! A pregnant woman can too but its hard on the feet! It can be done 3 times although I would recommendto bring the camper next time. A person must have a resting area! Donielle and her 5 month old Matthew came picked Savannah and I up. I'm not sure if the babies really knew they were riding together. The way up there both babies slept. Donielle brough...
