Christmas Tree is Up


Savnnah and I got the tree up the first of week of November.  Savannah happened to go to the Zoo that day with Gigi and Popo.  When Savannah got home she discovered I had the tree and lights up.  I was going to finish it the next day because I was tired.  Plus all my decorations were at Corey's parents house in storage and I brought them all home.  Savannah wanted to decorated the tree right then.  Well I was like okay will just do the garland.  The next thing I know the whole tree got done! It was such a special time.  Savannah really got into decorating the tree and such a great little helper!  Last year she helped some but this time she was really into it!  If you put the tree up and decorated it Savannah  said you must wrap a presents. (Reminds me of the story if you give a pig a pancake) Its a never ending cycle!  At the time the only ones I had to wrap was Jaythan's.  We did!

Happy July 4th- Savannah First Zoo Trip

Happy July Forth! Corey and I decided to take Savannah to the Zoo. We drove down to the Cameron Zoo in Waco, TX. I love that zoo because its never to crowded like the Fort Worth or Dallas Zoo. It was Savannah's first trip to the Zoo. She really loved it. It worked out perfect because she napped on the way down and on the way back to the house. Corey and I had a great time showing Savannah all the animals. I think the fish, tigers, ducks and otter were her favorite animals to see. Everyday Savannah is saying more words. At the Zoo she was saying fish and duck very clear. She was also growling like the alligators and tigers. She would hiss like a snake when we were looking at all the snakes. We had a great time at the zoo. We came home from the zoo and went swimming next door at Gigi's house for a bit. Sleepless Nights!

Wow! I know I haven't posted in two weeks. Sorry! I'll update all of you on what we have been up to this past two weeks. Matthew and Mackenzie came over Thursday February 1st and played with Savannah. They love her so much. I really enjoy their company and they are such a big help to me! The weather was cold and yucky two weekends ago. It is so hard to be cooped up in the house all day. Saturday, Corey and I kept Savannah entertained all day. By the end of the afternoon she was tired of our faces and bored with us! I texted Robin and she was sweet enough to come over and let Corey and I go out! Savannah was so happy to see new faces. She just smiled at Robin and Addy! I got some cute pictures of Addy and Savannah playing! Corey and I went out to eat and ran to Albertsons to get a few things. Savannah caught a cold. Boo at the Zoo 2013

Savannah and I went to Boo at the Zoo again.  We took our friends Lidia and Averi!   The first time in my life I had to park in the soccer field to enter the zoo!  I thought "oh no we are in for it the zoo it is extremely busy!"  Lidia and I walked right by a few parking space when we enter the zoo parking lot!  The Zoo was not that bad at all!  The game lines were actually shorter than last year!  Savannah is Fire Star from Spider Man's Amazing Friends.  Savannah's friend Averi is a bumble bee! Here are the new baby elephants at the Zoo! So cute!
