Corey, Savannah and I have been couped up for almost 3 days in the house! It has been raining none stop. Can't complain too much because we need the rain! I would like to see the sun now! At least we got the house cleaned yesterday! Savannah played in her 1-2-3 Tea for Me saucer while Corey and and I watched the UT game. They say that by putting them in that they will developed 9 milestones which include tactile development, visual development, object performance, hand-eye coordination, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, object exploration, causes & effect learning, and self-awareness. All that scientific stuff aside it gives mommy and daddy about a thirty minute break also. Last night we watched the North Texas game with the disappointing double overtime loss to Ohio. Savannah has accomplished all 9 milestones. Evenflow has forgot to mention the 10th milestone! The biggest milestone was achieved by Savannah staying in there for longer then 30 minutes. All week Savannah was doing little increments of 10 minutes here and there in her saucer before fussing. Last night she played so well for almost a whole hour! Mommy and daddy were so surprised by that. Savannah really has been enjoying trying to grab things! She loves the TV remote. Luckily she is feeling better too. We went 3 days this week of her teething! No sign of a tooth yet! We have learned that every day is a new learning experience not only for Savannah but for mom and dad. She sure keeps us on our toes!
Happy July Forth! Corey and I decided to take Savannah to the Zoo. We drove down to the Cameron Zoo in Waco, TX. I love that zoo because its never to crowded like the Fort Worth or Dallas Zoo. It was Savannah's first trip to the Zoo. She really loved it. It worked out perfect because she napped on the way down and on the way back to the house. Corey and I had a great time showing Savannah all the animals. I think the fish, tigers, ducks and otter were her favorite animals to see. Everyday Savannah is saying more words. At the Zoo she was saying fish and duck very clear. She was also growling like the alligators and tigers. She would hiss like a snake when we were looking at all the snakes. We had a great time at the zoo. We came home from the zoo and went swimming next door at Gigi's house for a bit. Then Savannah and I left early to go to our small city park to see the festivities going on up there. I forgot my camera but Gigi got some cute pictures of Savannah in the W...
