Savannah Storm is here!

After 9 years Corey and I finally had our first baby. We started our own family! Savannah is the best thing that ever happened to us! She is a miracle for sure! God gave us everything we wanted in Savannah. She is healthy, has all her fingers and toes, sleeps great, and is just such a happy baby. We have been so blessed! The funny part is that Corey and I got a reality check. This job never ends of being a dad or a mom. It is a wonderful thing! Corey will tell you I do 90% of it all but he helps more than he lets on. Corey is such a wonderful daddy! It is such a joy to watch Corey and Savannah together everyday. Memories that you will never forget for sure. The thing that really touched my heart from Corey was when he said "Laliah, God gave you to me and you were a wonderful gift and now you gave me the best gift ever in Savannah." My eyes watered! I'm the lucky one here. God gave me the best husband in the whole wide world and a new beautiful daughter. I'm so happy that Corey and I can share life together with Savannah. Most of all we share and show God's love for her! Savannah Storm Hoskins 7lbs, 14.2 oz and 20 inches in length was born on May 21st, 2009.

Happy July 4th- Savannah First Zoo Trip

Happy July Forth! Corey and I decided to take Savannah to the Zoo. We drove down to the Cameron Zoo in Waco, TX. I love that zoo because its never to crowded like the Fort Worth or Dallas Zoo. It was Savannah's first trip to the Zoo. She really loved it. It worked out perfect because she napped on the way down and on the way back to the house. Corey and I had a great time showing Savannah all the animals. I think the fish, tigers, ducks and otter were her favorite animals to see. Everyday Savannah is saying more words. At the Zoo she was saying fish and duck very clear. She was also growling like the alligators and tigers. She would hiss like a snake when we were looking at all the snakes. We had a great time at the zoo. We came home from the zoo and went swimming next door at Gigi's house for a bit. Then Savannah and I left early to go to our small city park to see the festivities going on up there. I forgot my camera but Gigi got some cute pictures of Savannah in the W...

Sleepless Nights!

Wow! I know I haven't posted in two weeks. Sorry! I'll update all of you on what we have been up to this past two weeks. Matthew and Mackenzie came over Thursday February 1st and played with Savannah. They love her so much. I really enjoy their company and they are such a big help to me! The weather was cold and yucky two weekends ago. It is so hard to be cooped up in the house all day. Saturday, Corey and I kept Savannah entertained all day. By the end of the afternoon she was tired of our faces and bored with us! I texted Robin and she was sweet enough to come over and let Corey and I go out! Savannah was so happy to see new faces. She just smiled at Robin and Addy! I got some cute pictures of Addy and Savannah playing! Corey and I went out to eat and ran to Albertsons to get a few things. Savannah caught a cold. At first Savannah started running fever and no other signs. Corey and I assumed it was probably teething. By Monday and Tuesday she had that same congestion she had...

Guess Who?

Guess Who? Is this Savannah or Laliah? Robin showed me these pictures of me on Christmas Eve night at my Mema's house. I was talking to someone and she place them right in front of my face. I was like why are you showing me pictures of Savannah? Robin goes that is not Savannah its you! Sure enough that was me! Funny how Savannah and I had the same hair cut. I've seen those same face expression on Savannah. I've shown the pictures to Savannah and the girls. I'll go who is this? Everyone said Savannah. :) Or Savannah said Me!
