Shopping for a perfect dress!

Last Saturday Savannah, my mom, Emma, and I went to the Parks Mall. Our mission was to find Savannah a dress for the Alvarado Settler's Reunion baby contest. August 10th is when Savannah will be in the baby contest. The rules are simple they must wear shoes and walk across the stage. Gigi was wanting to find the perfect dress so Savannah will win! Here are some photo's of her trying on dresses. I will not tell you which one we got. You'll just have to wait to see our next blog. While we were at the mall, we rode the carousel. Savannah loved that. This was her 2nd trip to ride it. Her daddy and Mema had taken her a few weeks prior to that.

While we were at the Young and Heart store looking for Savannah a dress. Savannah discovered in the back room a grocery basket her size. Then Emma and Savannah were both fighting to push it. Every time one got a turn the other would throw a hissy fit. This is probably why this grocey basket was hidden in the back anyway. Then Savannah was trying to hike her leg and get in the basket. My mistake I helped her in. Then it was great because Savannah was happy and Emma was happy because she could push the basket with Savannah in it. Everyone was happy til the clerk was like you need to get your child out! Yes, Savannah was a bit big for it. It was fun and cute. Oh my goodness after making Savannah get out that basket she threw the biggest fit ever for 15 minutes. She was so mad I made her get out! I know for a fact that lady was glad we left her store. She was tired of hearing our children. We left the dress on hold so we made sure that was the one we wanted. So that lady clerk was going to have to see us again! I think I will get Savannah the grocery basket for Christmas beacuse she loved it!

Savannah found a Zebra pillow! One those of those pillow pals you see advertised on TV.

Happy July 4th- Savannah First Zoo Trip

Happy July Forth! Corey and I decided to take Savannah to the Zoo. We drove down to the Cameron Zoo in Waco, TX. I love that zoo because its never to crowded like the Fort Worth or Dallas Zoo. It was Savannah's first trip to the Zoo. She really loved it. It worked out perfect because she napped on the way down and on the way back to the house. Corey and I had a great time showing Savannah all the animals. I think the fish, tigers, ducks and otter were her favorite animals to see. Everyday Savannah is saying more words. At the Zoo she was saying fish and duck very clear. She was also growling like the alligators and tigers. She would hiss like a snake when we were looking at all the snakes. We had a great time at the zoo. We came home from the zoo and went swimming next door at Gigi's house for a bit. Then Savannah and I left early to go to our small city park to see the festivities going on up there. I forgot my camera but Gigi got some cute pictures of Savannah in the W...

Sleepless Nights!

Wow! I know I haven't posted in two weeks. Sorry! I'll update all of you on what we have been up to this past two weeks. Matthew and Mackenzie came over Thursday February 1st and played with Savannah. They love her so much. I really enjoy their company and they are such a big help to me! The weather was cold and yucky two weekends ago. It is so hard to be cooped up in the house all day. Saturday, Corey and I kept Savannah entertained all day. By the end of the afternoon she was tired of our faces and bored with us! I texted Robin and she was sweet enough to come over and let Corey and I go out! Savannah was so happy to see new faces. She just smiled at Robin and Addy! I got some cute pictures of Addy and Savannah playing! Corey and I went out to eat and ran to Albertsons to get a few things. Savannah caught a cold. At first Savannah started running fever and no other signs. Corey and I assumed it was probably teething. By Monday and Tuesday she had that same congestion she had...

Canton time again!

Savannah's new hat and orange hair bow! They are cute when they sleep! My friend Donielle called me last Friday and asked me if I wanted to go to Canton, TX. Canto has the world's largest flea market. Of course I was excited to go! Poor Corey he really wanted to go. He stayed home to start digging his holes for his new trees with the bob cat. Corey and I almost went last month to Canton but it was to hot. This was the month to go because the weather was just right! It was so nice to go and not be pregnant! Corey and I went last year 3 times while I was pregnant! Canton is so big and so much to look at a person can walk forever! A pregnant woman can too but its hard on the feet! It can be done 3 times although I would recommendto bring the camper next time. A person must have a resting area! Donielle and her 5 month old Matthew came picked Savannah and I up. I'm not sure if the babies really knew they were riding together. The way up there both babies slept. Donielle brough...
