Piggy Toes!

Wow! Last week was so busy! From the baby contest on Tuesday night, to working at the gym the 4 a.m.shift on Thursday, to fiddle contest on Friday night, fiddle benefit on Saturday night, and working at the gym on Sunday all day. It has truly been a non stop week! I think today might finally be a quiet day for me. At least I have no plans to go anywhere today! Of course it all starts over on Monday again!
After napping most of the day on Thursday ( I forget the after affects of the 4a.m. shift does to your body) Savannah and I went and got pedicures done. Savannah's first pedicure and first painting of her piggy toes! She sat in my lap and did great! She watched them do mine. The people ended up not charging me for Savannah's toes because they said she was so smart. She was telling them what all the animals were in her Oh MacDonald book. It was a fun mommy and daughter experience and more to come I'm sure of!
I went to the fiddle contest Friday night. I wish I took my camera but I forgot. Corey kept Savannah that night so I could go compete. I did not place but I did mess one song up. The fun part I got to judge and made some money doing that. It was well worth my time going!
Saturday night, mom and I went to a Texas Old Time Fiddle Association benefit in Burleson at the RV Ranch. I learned about it the night before. I took Savannah with me that night. She really enjoyed hearing the fiddle music and meeting everyone too. Corey had gone that night to play games at Matt and Stephanie's house. He left before Savannah and I did. Savannah must of heard Corey say Laliah. She was running down the hallway after he left the house yelling. Laliah, Laliah , Laliah , Laliah! She is now really saying Laliah as clear as day now! She does say mama. Like this morning she said mama twice. I guess I did not answer quickly enough then its mama, mama, Laliah, Laliah! It is so funny!
Monday night Katy spent the night with us. It was storming outside. We were playing where is Katy? Where is daddy? Where is mommy? Where is Savannah? She hugs herself. I go where is Stormy? She hugs herself. I go Where is Storm at? She looked puzzled who that could be. She pointed outside because it so happened to be storming outside . It was funny! The storm is outside mom!

Happy July 4th- Savannah First Zoo Trip

Happy July Forth! Corey and I decided to take Savannah to the Zoo. We drove down to the Cameron Zoo in Waco, TX. I love that zoo because its never to crowded like the Fort Worth or Dallas Zoo. It was Savannah's first trip to the Zoo. She really loved it. It worked out perfect because she napped on the way down and on the way back to the house. Corey and I had a great time showing Savannah all the animals. I think the fish, tigers, ducks and otter were her favorite animals to see. Everyday Savannah is saying more words. At the Zoo she was saying fish and duck very clear. She was also growling like the alligators and tigers. She would hiss like a snake when we were looking at all the snakes. We had a great time at the zoo. We came home from the zoo and went swimming next door at Gigi's house for a bit. Then Savannah and I left early to go to our small city park to see the festivities going on up there. I forgot my camera but Gigi got some cute pictures of Savannah in the W...

Sleepless Nights!

Wow! I know I haven't posted in two weeks. Sorry! I'll update all of you on what we have been up to this past two weeks. Matthew and Mackenzie came over Thursday February 1st and played with Savannah. They love her so much. I really enjoy their company and they are such a big help to me! The weather was cold and yucky two weekends ago. It is so hard to be cooped up in the house all day. Saturday, Corey and I kept Savannah entertained all day. By the end of the afternoon she was tired of our faces and bored with us! I texted Robin and she was sweet enough to come over and let Corey and I go out! Savannah was so happy to see new faces. She just smiled at Robin and Addy! I got some cute pictures of Addy and Savannah playing! Corey and I went out to eat and ran to Albertsons to get a few things. Savannah caught a cold. At first Savannah started running fever and no other signs. Corey and I assumed it was probably teething. By Monday and Tuesday she had that same congestion she had...

Canton time again!

Savannah's new hat and orange hair bow! They are cute when they sleep! My friend Donielle called me last Friday and asked me if I wanted to go to Canton, TX. Canto has the world's largest flea market. Of course I was excited to go! Poor Corey he really wanted to go. He stayed home to start digging his holes for his new trees with the bob cat. Corey and I almost went last month to Canton but it was to hot. This was the month to go because the weather was just right! It was so nice to go and not be pregnant! Corey and I went last year 3 times while I was pregnant! Canton is so big and so much to look at a person can walk forever! A pregnant woman can too but its hard on the feet! It can be done 3 times although I would recommendto bring the camper next time. A person must have a resting area! Donielle and her 5 month old Matthew came picked Savannah and I up. I'm not sure if the babies really knew they were riding together. The way up there both babies slept. Donielle brough...
