New Years Weekend!

New Years Eve we went to Matt and Stephanie's house to play games and celebrate the New Year! They threw a great party. We left a little before midnight because Savannah was getting tired. More so because Corey was really tired! Bless his heart, Corey really pushed himself while he had a sunny day to get most of our front porch done. Corey is rebuilding our front porch! We have been needing to do that the last 5 years for sure. Funny to think because this time last year on New Years Day-- I fell thru the porch while pregnant with Savannah taking Christmas lights off the porch. I'm glad I have a new porch now! When we got home Savannah still did not go to bed til 1am. Then for some reason woke up happy at 5a.m. wanting to play. So we played til 6am. We had a great surprise Saturday. My cousin Kenny 3, his wife Lynnsey, and baby Beckett came from Oklahoma to see us. Beckett is 17 months and going so fast! Its amazing to me how fast they grow. By next Christmas Savannah will be the same age as Beckett is right now. Beckett played with Savannah. Savannah shared her toys! We found out Savannah and Beckett have the same drum toy too! We all went and ate in Hillsboro some Mexican food. When we came back to the house Beckett and Savannah played a little more while us adults visited. They left about 4 and went stayed in Arlington. They had plans to catch the Cotton Bowl game the next day at the new Cowboy stadium. After our busy New Years Eve night and News Year Day of fun I thought Savannah might take a good nap. No, she only took two 20 minute naps that whole day. I was so tired and ready to crash! Corey was sweet enough to play with Savannah while I got a nap in. When i got up he was ready to crash! She finally went to bed by 8:30 to 9 pm. I was looking forward to sleeping in when Poppo called wanting us to go to Canton to the flea market. I waited til Corey woke up because I knew he wanted to sleep in. We called Poppa and Gigi to see if they had left yet. We agreed to go. We had a great time other than it might have been just a bit to far of a trip for Savannah. She is hating the car seat rides! I hope its just a phase. She never slept on the way up there. In a way it was a blessing in disguise. Because she slept a good two hours while we wondering around the flea market. The ride home she wasn't a happy baby! Luckily we reached Chick-Fil-A before we had to drive the rest of the way home. Savannah enjoying shopping in Canton!

Happy July 4th- Savannah First Zoo Trip

Happy July Forth! Corey and I decided to take Savannah to the Zoo. We drove down to the Cameron Zoo in Waco, TX. I love that zoo because its never to crowded like the Fort Worth or Dallas Zoo. It was Savannah's first trip to the Zoo. She really loved it. It worked out perfect because she napped on the way down and on the way back to the house. Corey and I had a great time showing Savannah all the animals. I think the fish, tigers, ducks and otter were her favorite animals to see. Everyday Savannah is saying more words. At the Zoo she was saying fish and duck very clear. She was also growling like the alligators and tigers. She would hiss like a snake when we were looking at all the snakes. We had a great time at the zoo. We came home from the zoo and went swimming next door at Gigi's house for a bit. Then Savannah and I left early to go to our small city park to see the festivities going on up there. I forgot my camera but Gigi got some cute pictures of Savannah in the W...

Sleepless Nights!

Wow! I know I haven't posted in two weeks. Sorry! I'll update all of you on what we have been up to this past two weeks. Matthew and Mackenzie came over Thursday February 1st and played with Savannah. They love her so much. I really enjoy their company and they are such a big help to me! The weather was cold and yucky two weekends ago. It is so hard to be cooped up in the house all day. Saturday, Corey and I kept Savannah entertained all day. By the end of the afternoon she was tired of our faces and bored with us! I texted Robin and she was sweet enough to come over and let Corey and I go out! Savannah was so happy to see new faces. She just smiled at Robin and Addy! I got some cute pictures of Addy and Savannah playing! Corey and I went out to eat and ran to Albertsons to get a few things. Savannah caught a cold. At first Savannah started running fever and no other signs. Corey and I assumed it was probably teething. By Monday and Tuesday she had that same congestion she had...

Canton time again!

Savannah's new hat and orange hair bow! They are cute when they sleep! My friend Donielle called me last Friday and asked me if I wanted to go to Canton, TX. Canto has the world's largest flea market. Of course I was excited to go! Poor Corey he really wanted to go. He stayed home to start digging his holes for his new trees with the bob cat. Corey and I almost went last month to Canton but it was to hot. This was the month to go because the weather was just right! It was so nice to go and not be pregnant! Corey and I went last year 3 times while I was pregnant! Canton is so big and so much to look at a person can walk forever! A pregnant woman can too but its hard on the feet! It can be done 3 times although I would recommendto bring the camper next time. A person must have a resting area! Donielle and her 5 month old Matthew came picked Savannah and I up. I'm not sure if the babies really knew they were riding together. The way up there both babies slept. Donielle brough...
