Thanksgiving Weekend!

We went to Lake Whitney at McCowan's park camping over the Thanksgiving weekend. Savannah loves camping. She is so relaxed when she goes camping! She really enjoyed being outdoors. On Thanksgiving day when it was time to eat, Savannah falls asleep right at lunch time. I walked down to the tent with my baby monitor clipped to me. I learn quickly those things do not stretch far. Corey was like "Laliah they don't stretch far so mommies don't go to far away" It was really funny because it stretched as far as the road. I missed it by 6 feet to the tent. Everyone was teasing me that I was going to get my lawn chair and eat my Thanksgiving dinner on the road. Right on the line where it cut off! Nevertheless, I went back to the camper and my friend Heather stayed and kept me company. Then she went down to the tent to eat. I really enjoyed the quiet time because I actually got to sneak in and write a letter. A few people were like wake Savannah up. I know my baby needed her sleep! Besides, if I had woke her up she would have been grumpy. It really all worked itself out. Corey got to take his time and eat. Then when Savannah finally woke up we went down to the tent and Corey was done eating. Then I got to take my time and enjoy my Thanksgiving dinner. Also, my uncle Bryan came by boat to see us too.
We played Mexican Train and Joker at night. On Friday Corey went hiking with Matt and Stephanie. They were all really tired when they got back. They did not find any arrow heads. Mom and dad also came down on Friday. I caught them feeding Savannah Cheetos. The funniest think that happened was feeding Savannah bananas. She did not like the baby food bananas. She made this face and closed her eyes and shook her head like that was nasty tasting. I had tried it at first and thought it tasted like sour apples. I thought the sweet potatoes and carrots tasted better. Then we got Corey to taste them. He shook his head just like Savannah. They were nasty to him! We were all laughing at his facial expression. Our friends Tim and Heather also went camping with us. They were really sweet to cook us breakfast just about every morning. They got a new camper and are really enjoying it!
Corey threw me a birthday party Saturday night. Corey gave me a new camera. Just what I have been wanting! Corey and I felt like the camping trip went by to fast. We really did have a good time. I'm so glad the weather was perfect too!

Happy July 4th- Savannah First Zoo Trip

Happy July Forth! Corey and I decided to take Savannah to the Zoo. We drove down to the Cameron Zoo in Waco, TX. I love that zoo because its never to crowded like the Fort Worth or Dallas Zoo. It was Savannah's first trip to the Zoo. She really loved it. It worked out perfect because she napped on the way down and on the way back to the house. Corey and I had a great time showing Savannah all the animals. I think the fish, tigers, ducks and otter were her favorite animals to see. Everyday Savannah is saying more words. At the Zoo she was saying fish and duck very clear. She was also growling like the alligators and tigers. She would hiss like a snake when we were looking at all the snakes. We had a great time at the zoo. We came home from the zoo and went swimming next door at Gigi's house for a bit. Then Savannah and I left early to go to our small city park to see the festivities going on up there. I forgot my camera but Gigi got some cute pictures of Savannah in the W...

Sleepless Nights!

Wow! I know I haven't posted in two weeks. Sorry! I'll update all of you on what we have been up to this past two weeks. Matthew and Mackenzie came over Thursday February 1st and played with Savannah. They love her so much. I really enjoy their company and they are such a big help to me! The weather was cold and yucky two weekends ago. It is so hard to be cooped up in the house all day. Saturday, Corey and I kept Savannah entertained all day. By the end of the afternoon she was tired of our faces and bored with us! I texted Robin and she was sweet enough to come over and let Corey and I go out! Savannah was so happy to see new faces. She just smiled at Robin and Addy! I got some cute pictures of Addy and Savannah playing! Corey and I went out to eat and ran to Albertsons to get a few things. Savannah caught a cold. At first Savannah started running fever and no other signs. Corey and I assumed it was probably teething. By Monday and Tuesday she had that same congestion she had...

Canton time again!

Savannah's new hat and orange hair bow! They are cute when they sleep! My friend Donielle called me last Friday and asked me if I wanted to go to Canton, TX. Canto has the world's largest flea market. Of course I was excited to go! Poor Corey he really wanted to go. He stayed home to start digging his holes for his new trees with the bob cat. Corey and I almost went last month to Canton but it was to hot. This was the month to go because the weather was just right! It was so nice to go and not be pregnant! Corey and I went last year 3 times while I was pregnant! Canton is so big and so much to look at a person can walk forever! A pregnant woman can too but its hard on the feet! It can be done 3 times although I would recommendto bring the camper next time. A person must have a resting area! Donielle and her 5 month old Matthew came picked Savannah and I up. I'm not sure if the babies really knew they were riding together. The way up there both babies slept. Donielle brough...
