We are in for it!

I'm sorry for the delay folks. I meant to post something last weekend but things were crazy around here. I did not snap any photos either. Saturday the 9th was Corey's birthday. Savannah and I woke up bright early that morning and made Corey muffins. We stuck candles in his muffins and lit them. We sung him Happy birthday and surprised him with breakfast in bed. For the rest of Corey's birthday things were pretty low key. We ended up going to Corey's moms house and watched the Cowboy game. We also played Scrabble Build Up too. Corey won as usual!

The best news came on Monday when Savannah officially started crawling everywhere. Savannah had been attempting to crawl for several weeks now but would go backwards and get frustrated. Anna was right on target. At Christmas time Anna thought Savannah would be crawling within 3 weeks. My friend Gloria I don't how she did it but she got Savannah crawling on Monday. Now Savannah has a whole new world! I can't just plop her down in front of her toys and TV anymore. She is on the move. Tuesday night I let her go in her room to play. I went to check on her and she crawled to her trash can. Savannah was playing with the step handle on the trash can. I'm like she is not hurting anything. Five minutes later I hear Corey yelling "Get the baby Trash!" I thought she was hurt or something. I run into her room and said "Hey!" Savannah jumped because I scared her. To my surprise she was sitting on the floor with her trash can dumped and diapers scattered everywhere. She was smileing looking at me while playing with the trash bag! I was like oh this is your first case of meddling! I looked at Corey like we have no idea what we are up against now! One of my co-workers at the gym gave me some good advice. Place your baby in every room and whatever they get into you will know what to put away. So we have some serious baby proofing to do quickly! Today is Friday and it is amazing how fast she has improved in crawling. When she really wants something she takes off and goes! Here is a clip of her crawling!

Happy July 4th- Savannah First Zoo Trip

Happy July Forth! Corey and I decided to take Savannah to the Zoo. We drove down to the Cameron Zoo in Waco, TX. I love that zoo because its never to crowded like the Fort Worth or Dallas Zoo. It was Savannah's first trip to the Zoo. She really loved it. It worked out perfect because she napped on the way down and on the way back to the house. Corey and I had a great time showing Savannah all the animals. I think the fish, tigers, ducks and otter were her favorite animals to see. Everyday Savannah is saying more words. At the Zoo she was saying fish and duck very clear. She was also growling like the alligators and tigers. She would hiss like a snake when we were looking at all the snakes. We had a great time at the zoo. We came home from the zoo and went swimming next door at Gigi's house for a bit. Then Savannah and I left early to go to our small city park to see the festivities going on up there. I forgot my camera but Gigi got some cute pictures of Savannah in the W...

Sleepless Nights!

Wow! I know I haven't posted in two weeks. Sorry! I'll update all of you on what we have been up to this past two weeks. Matthew and Mackenzie came over Thursday February 1st and played with Savannah. They love her so much. I really enjoy their company and they are such a big help to me! The weather was cold and yucky two weekends ago. It is so hard to be cooped up in the house all day. Saturday, Corey and I kept Savannah entertained all day. By the end of the afternoon she was tired of our faces and bored with us! I texted Robin and she was sweet enough to come over and let Corey and I go out! Savannah was so happy to see new faces. She just smiled at Robin and Addy! I got some cute pictures of Addy and Savannah playing! Corey and I went out to eat and ran to Albertsons to get a few things. Savannah caught a cold. At first Savannah started running fever and no other signs. Corey and I assumed it was probably teething. By Monday and Tuesday she had that same congestion she had...

Canton time again!

Savannah's new hat and orange hair bow! They are cute when they sleep! My friend Donielle called me last Friday and asked me if I wanted to go to Canton, TX. Canto has the world's largest flea market. Of course I was excited to go! Poor Corey he really wanted to go. He stayed home to start digging his holes for his new trees with the bob cat. Corey and I almost went last month to Canton but it was to hot. This was the month to go because the weather was just right! It was so nice to go and not be pregnant! Corey and I went last year 3 times while I was pregnant! Canton is so big and so much to look at a person can walk forever! A pregnant woman can too but its hard on the feet! It can be done 3 times although I would recommendto bring the camper next time. A person must have a resting area! Donielle and her 5 month old Matthew came picked Savannah and I up. I'm not sure if the babies really knew they were riding together. The way up there both babies slept. Donielle brough...
